Founded in 1929, IBEW Local 453 has represented skilled electrical workers throughout Southwest Missouri for nearly a century. Built on the values of brotherhood, craftsmanship, safety, and fair wages, Local 453 has helped shape the electrical infrastructure that powers the Ozarks.
From commercial and industrial construction to public infrastructure and service work, our members have played a vital role in building and maintaining the communities where we live and work. Today, Local 453 continues to invest in the future through apprenticeship training, workforce development, and a strong commitment to excellence in the electrical industry.
